Statistics

This course introduces students to both descriptive and inferential statistics through a streamlined, 8-module structure suitable for dual-enrolled high school students and college students alike. Topics include measures of central tendency and variability, the normal distribution, sampling and estimation, hypothesis testing, correlation, regression, and ANOVA. Students will practice statistical thinking, data interpretation, and software-based analysis using Excel and JAMOVI

Astronomy

A descriptive course about the solar system, stars and stellar evolution, galaxies, and the universe. Recent findings of space exploration and radio astronomy are included. With a unique integration of science and Scripture, you will explore how modern discoveries affirm the beauty, order, and complexity of God's creation. 

Art Experience & Appreciation

An introductory study of art appreciation. The course covers art-related vocabulary, focused observation, historical context and the elements and principles of design as an entry into discussion surrounding the meaning and purpose of visual imagery.

Introduction to Communication

A course in the fundamental principles of effective oral communication. Special attention is given to the selection and organization of materials and the presentation of speeches. Three emphases of the course are: theory, practice, and constructive criticism.

Sociology

The scientific study of society, institutions, and group interaction, with focus on the sociological imagination and core theories. Topics include the sociological perspective, the individual in society, stratification and social inequality, social institutions, human ecology, and social change, with special attention to issues of diversity.

In this course we will learn and practice Biblical principles of personal finance. We will orient our map and compass towards a bright financial future. This class will equip you to live out a healthy approach to money and finances.

This course focuses on improving your written communication skills in personal, professional, and academic settings.

College Algebra For Life

This course is a problem-based approach to algebra that focuses on practical application. This course aims to demystify algebraic concepts by grounding them in real-world scenarios, such as personal finance, data analysis, home improvement, and even cooking.

American History through the Civil War

An exploration into the history of the U.S. and its major moments and movements.

IAM3 Leadership

In this course, students will learn about the I am 3rd posture for living and leading that puts God first, others second, and self third.

The Story in the Bible

This course follows the story in the Bible by tracing its path through its lands and locations, featuring footage from the late Wilbur Williams who led over 144 trips to the Holy Land during his life.

Intro to Computing with C++

This course introduces programming in C++. Students will practice solving problems by writing code, and no prior programming experience is required.

Personal Cybersecurity

The course will be a broad overview of computer security topics including security threats, personal computer security, operating system security, web security, physical security, access control, intrusion detection, anti-virus & anti-spyware systems, cryptography, steganography, security models & practice, business continuity & disaster recovery, and risk management. A brief introduction to secure software development is included. The course will not include a significant coding component.

This course continues the journey into the art of persuasive writing, focusing on the rhetoric, logic, and evidence needed to craft compelling arguments. Drawing inspiration from works of classical rhetoric, you will hone your skills in writing persuasive and expository prose. By the end of the course, you will be equipped with the skills to communicate your ideas effectively and convince others through the written word.
